Studio Policies
Learn more about our facility and see why we’re the right one for you. At Ellani Aerial, each and every student is an important member of our community. We believe students should be taught in a safe, empowering, and positive environment. Below you will find important information regarding our studio's policies.
1 / Securing your spot for class & Prepayments
First time booking with us, or have a no-show on your
account? Prepayment is required to secure your spot. This helps us plan class sizes and keep things fair for everyone on the schedule.
If we have not received your payment within 48 hours of the class, your spot may be made available to someone else.
Without payment, it will be up the instructor's discretion to have you removed from the session. This will allow for persons on the waitlist to be added to the session.
Each booking confirmation email outlines our accepted payment methods. Once complete, please send a screenshot of the payment receipt via email, DM or message us in the chat feature to secure your booking.
2 / Recording in Class
Photos and videography are great ways to document your journey and are allowed in studio! However, please do so in a way that does not disrupt the instruction of the class. Additionally, be sure to have permission from anyone who may appear in the background before taking/posting any photos or videos.
No live videography is allowed on any social media platform while taking part in group classes.
3 / Class Interactions
Ellani Aerial aims to foster a welcoming, inclusive and respectful environment to all participants. We do not tolerate bullying, disrespectful behaviour or any violation of others' personal space. Such behaviour will result in immediate removal from the studio and access to classes being revoked.
4 / Punctuality
Please be on time for your classes - arrive 5-10 minutes early to check in and get settled.
We do understand that unforeseen circumstances may occur, so if you are late (within the grace period), please enter quietly and with minimal interruption to the class.
5 / Grace Period
There is a 10 minute grace period at the beginning of each class. Once this has passed, entry into the session is up to the discretion of the instructor.
If you are not permitted to enter the class your credits will be forfeited.
6 / Class Cancellation & Late Cancellation
By a student:
Ellani Aerial requests that you cancel at least four (4) hours before your scheduled class. This gives the studio the opportunity to fill your vacated spot. You may cancel using the Wix app, online or by sending us a message (via email, DM or message us in the chat feature). Class credits will be refunded to your account once this policy is adhered to.
Cancellations less than four hours to class time will attract a $1,500 late fee for all students.
By the studio:
It is up to the discretion of the instructor to cancel classes that have less than three students booked. In the event that this occurs you will receive an email to inform you of the class cancellation at least two hours before the start of the scheduled session.
7 / No-Shows
Didn't cancel and didn't show? Package holders will forfeit a credit. Non-package holders or drop-ins will need to pay $2,500 before booking another session.
Spots are limited, and a no-show means someone on the waitlist missed their chance to train.
8 / Booking Class Levels
Please book the class level that matches your current skill and strength. If in doubt, send us an email or DM on Instagram for confirmation. It keeps you (and everyone else) safe, and keeps classes running smoothly.
Students taking intermediate/level II classes will not be permitted to book beginner/level I classes for any apparatus. Where there are sessions that are not fully booked, it is up to the discretion of the instructor to allow entry of an
intermediate/level II student into a beginner/level I class.
9 / Illness
If you are feeling ill or are experiencing any symptoms, including but not limited to fever or difficulty breathing, please be sure to seek medical attention and do not attend class. If you have already scheduled a class and become ill, kindly see our cancellation policy above.
10 / Food & Drink
Food is not permitted in the studio space. Water bottles or energy drinks are welcome, but please ensure to discard them in the bin provided in reception.
11 / Jewellery
Rings, bracelets, necklaces, anklets etc. can scratch the poles or get caught in the hammocks. To reduce wear and tear on our equipment and for your safety, please remove and properly secure jewellery before class.
12 / Shoes
Street shoes should be removed and placed into the cubbies with your other personal belongings before stepping into the private room or the main studio.
For heels classes, please make sure they are clean to avoid dirt in studio. Otherwise, socks or bare feet only!
13 / Use of Cellular Phones
Please be respectful of your instructors and others in class by leaving your phone conversations outside the studio - both calls and text messages. If your phone is needed for work or a personal reason, please inform your instructor and keep your phone where it will not interrupt the flow of the class. Please keep phones on silent and step outside if you need to take a call during class.
As a reminder of our Recording policy, please be mindful of capturing others in the background of your videos and recording/posting without consent.
14 / Refunds
All purchases are non-refundable. We're happy to help with rescheduling or credits where possible instead!
15 / Disregard for Studio Policies
These policies exist to keep our studio safe, fair, and welcoming for everyone. Repeated disregard for our policies will affect your ability to book future classes, including but not limited to: membership cancellation and studio access being revoked.
16 / Lost & Found
Left something behind? We hold onto lost property for 4 weeks before donating or discarding it. Check with us in person or message To us; we'd love to reunite you with your stuff!
